過約旦河與過紅海最大的區別在於:紅海是摩西舉杖,海水分開;
新一代的以色列人不再僅僅將『聽過的故事』視為神;
The greatest difference between crossing the Jordan River and crossing the Red Sea is this:
At the Red Sea, Moses lifted his staff and the waters parted; At the Jordan River, the people had to step into the water first before the river receded.
This is a journey toward maturity. The new generation of Israelites no longer viewed God as merely a "story they had heard." While testimonies speak of God's faithfulness, they had to experience Him for themselves. Building upon the foundation of their ancestors' faith, they summoned even greater courage to move forward, so that their own experiences could be "set as memorial stones"— becoming stepping stones for those who follow.
Maturity is the collective calling of the Body of Christ. It is not simply the accumulation of knowledge, but the holistic flourishing of spirit, soul, and body. Generation after generation, we must press on until we attain the full measure of the stature of Christ and live out His likeness. A heart faintly appears in the painting— an unintentional stroke of the brush, as if God is reminding us: We must venture more bravely and step deeper into the depths of His heart.
